EAGLE PLAYER

the Eagles re-signed defensive tackle Steve Martin and inked
a deal with free agent safety T.J. Cunningham. Both were signed to one-year contracts.

Martin, entering his fourth NFL season, was claimed off waivers from the Indianapolis Colts by the Eagles in late October to help strengthen an injury-plagued defensive front. He tallied 39 tackles and 1 sack for the Philadelphia last season.

Cunningham is entering his second season in the NFL. Originally drafted in the sixth round of the 1996 draft by Seattle, he appeared in nine games for the Seahawks and tallied 9 tackles and a fumble recovery before being placed on the injured reserve list due to a knee injury.
